About Us

Wild Strawberry Cafe is a family-owned business built on love, hard work, and community. Founded in 2011 by Natasha Kazic, a determined mother from Montenegro, the cafe quickly became a local favorite. In 2017, Natasha’s husband, Aleksandar Perisic, joined the team, bringing his operational expertise, while Natasha focused on creativity and strategy. Their daughter, Milena, now has her own Wild Strawberry Cafe location in Laguna Beach, combining her passion for hospitality with her professional experience.

We are dedicated to creating clean, high-quality food made with love, and a positive energy that radiates throughout our space. Our goal is to serve great food, foster a welcoming environment, and build strong connections with our community.

As the tastemaker, entrepreneur and owner of Wild Strawberry Cafe, I am Natasha Kazic and I would like to share my story with you.

I began my life journey as I ventured out to California from the beautiful country, Montenegro, that I get to call my home. Just after I had experienced a huge lifestyle change in weight loss, I had a spark in me that had a desire to help and guide others to living a healthy and clean life. I spent many years educating myself and devoted my time to being a wellness coach, personal trainer and fitness instructor to my local community.

As we were struggling in the down economy in 2010 and contemplating on what to do in my life, my innovative mind came up with the idea to create a cafe. I have always known that the true answers come from our higher source, but my experience in a 40 day water fast opened up new doors in my life to what I call success in my life, one being the birth of Wild Strawberry Cafe in a unique location in Newport Beach, CA.

With no experience in the restaurant industry, I simply followed my natural instinct of creating a menu that I would make exactly in my own kitchen at home and what I would feed myself and my children. As being a nutritional coach for a significant part of my life, I was very picky when it came to the food that I was putting into my body and found that it was extremely difficult to find foods that were real, live, electric, fresh and junk free. That is the moment that I realized that I will continue to do what I love and that is to educate you by serving nutritious food that your body will love.

In our kitchen, we stick to making all of our dishes out of scratch. From our delicious and refreshing salads made up of dense vegetables to our homemade dressings made of fresh herbs and extra virgin olive oil, there are no secrets that we have but use the best quality ingredients for your health. As we all enjoy a fresh and warm pastry here and there, we limit the amount of sugar in our baked goods to ensure that you can fulfill your sweet tooth at any time of the day.

We are here continuing to strive every day and love preparing food with the most positive energy.
